We are in prayer for Cliff and all the families. Cliff was a man of God who enjoyed being with his flock. I always reflect over the years of the time he and I flew my Cessna Skyhawk from Charleston to St. George Airport. His time with the 315th AW as Wing Chaiplain was a highlight for many reserve members throughout the Wing squadrons. He was our pastor at Stallsville United Methodist.Church, Summerville, SC and after his move to Isle of Palms our daughter, Kristin and now son-in-law Hank Cranford, had him perform their marriage ceremony at Middleton Place Gardens. The wedding party was getting started where everyone was seated, the cermony time to begin and no preacher anywhere! Many minutes later Cliff came running from the parking area, his robe flying as he ran to the front of the gathering.. He said there was a traffic slowdown coming from Isle of Palms to West Ashley highway 61.
Cliff was a very great enabler to many, many people in various churhes he served and while at the Air Foce Reserve. We pray that God has a plan for him at this early satge of his life.
