Obituary of Rebecca Cooper

Rebecca Jane Ward Cooper, 75, widow of Jessie James Cooper, Sr., passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Ron McNair Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lake City. Born on May 13, 1937, in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Ward and the late Lizzie Cox Ward. Mrs. Cooper was of the Holiness faith. Survivors include five sons, Donald Weavil (Debbie) of Georgetown, David Weavil of Georgetown, Daniel Bromell of TN, Jessie J. Cooper, Jr. (Theresa) of Georgetown and John A. Cooper (Judy) of Garden City; six grandchildren, Courtney Jackson, Tiffany Cooper, Nicki Cates, Lee Watts, Kevin Cox and Kenneth Cox; six great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Annette Stewart; and a numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark C. Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graham Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Ron McNair Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 56 Genesis Drive Lake City, SC 29560.
