Roy F. Frazee, 85, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Born on July 4, 1927, in Shelbyville, IN, he was a son of the late Everett and Ruth (Trembly) Frazee. Mr. Frazee was a veteran of the US Navy and was married to the late Mary Jean (Golding) Frazee for 32 years. After moving to the Carolinas in 1978, Mr. Frazee worked in retail and was the owner of Pro Play Home Entertainment Equipment in Charlotte, NC and later worked as a consultant for American Billiards for 10 years. Mr. Frazee was a resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Georgetown, SC for the past year. Survivors include a brother, Ray D. Frazee and sister-in-law, Ree Jean Frazee of Waldron, IN; two daughters, Rora Gay "Rody" Frazee Stegall and son-in-law, Pete Stegall both of Georgetown, SC and Rhonda D. Frazee of Sherrills Ford, NC; and one granddaughter, Robin Ann Weaver of Shelbyville, IN. He was preceded in death by a son Rick J. Frazee; and a sister, Naomi Stroup. Per Mr. Frazee’s request, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane Columbia, SC 29210.
