Henry Walton Harrelson, 82, widower of Elizabeth Anne Butler Harrelson, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on March 14, 1930, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Charlie Harrelson, Sr. and the late Mary Wilson "Mamie" Harrelson. Mr. Harrelson was a US Air Force Veteran and was retired from International Paper. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed working in his garden and watching birds. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Brunner (Michael) of Columbia, Cynthia "Cindy" Creel (Allen) of Andrews and Elizabeth "Beth" Harrelson of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Greg Brunner and Suzanne Brunner both of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Harville and Iva Kissam; and eight brothers, Dan Harrelson, Charlie Harrelson, Jr., Fred Harrelson, Thomas Harrelson, Gordon Harrelson, McLeod Harrelson, O’Neil Harrelson and Frank Bullock Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, October 15, 2012 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Sunday at Graham Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Tidelands Community Hospice House, 2591 N. Fraser St. Georgetown, SC 29440 or to Saint Frances Animal Shelter, 125 N. Ridge St. Georgetown, SC 29440.
