Obituary of William Wayne Michau

William Wayne Michau, 75, passed away Friday March 17, 2023 at home. A visitation will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 in Graham Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Mr. Michau’s Funeral will be Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Born September 12, 1947 in Williamsburg County, he was a son of the late William Watson Michau and the late Corrie Mae Jones Michau Walker. Mr. Michau was a United States Army veteran, having served as a missile specialist in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was a hard-working family man who retired from Georgetown Steel after many years of service. Mr. Michau was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. Later in life, he enjoyed watching westerns and tending to his many chickens. Surviving are two daughters, Christine Michau McCants (Greg), and Rose Marie Michau-McDonald (Joni); one son, Jamie Dayne Michau; five grandchildren, Bailey McCants, Drake McCants, Brent Unrue, Sierra Unrue, and Hunter Michau; three sisters, Edith Michau Rose, Bonnie Michau Jacobs(Carlon), and Roxann Michau Jordan; three brothers, Raymond Michau, Mark Michau, and James Michau; twelve nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
