Obituary of Megan Moore Griffin

Please share a memory of Megan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Megan Moore Griffin July 31 1985- March 6 2023 Megan was a unique combination of an old soul with a youthful, silly spirit. She was kind and creative; and loved the beautiful things in nature and her job as a massage therapist. She loved her two fur babies Bob and June. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. She collected many friends along the way from Maine to Florida. Nothing made Megan happier than being around people. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, share herself and evoke that same spirit of love in each person she knew. Megan is survived by and will always be missed by her husband Jeremy Griffin of Murrells Inlet; her parents Rhonda Navarro of Charleston and Scott Moore Greenville; her loving bonus parents Dawna Moore and Taft Navarro; her grandmothers, Fern Moody of Georgetown and Joy Moore of Greenville; her sister Jennifer Steele (Matt); 3 nephews Cater, Avery and Easton Steele of Greenville; a bonus sister, Meta Bellinger and her husband Jesse of Georgetown and their children, Lilly, Kyla, and Insley Hardin; four loving aunts and numerous uncles and cousins. Her beloved Maine family including Mother in Law Kathy Griffin (Randy); father-in-law, Clayton Griffin (Mary); two sisters-in-law, Jamie Griffin and Kelli Griffin; a niece,Taylor Merchant (McKay); and nephews, Micheal Holmes (Shelby), Shawn Merchant, Aiden, Andrew and Jeremy Griffin, and Ian Sims; a great niece, Sophie Jordan Merchant; and her best friend, Tiffany Pierce. She was predeceased her two grandfathers James G Moody and Bob Moore; a loving nanny, Zelma Watson; two cousins, Lyndsay McDaniels and JoAnn Garder and a niece, Jordan Merchant. For now, Megan would want you to do things that make you happy, love, give back, and figure out your purpose. She would tell us to continue the journey because the show must go on, Megan would not have wanted it any other way. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 6-8pm at Graham Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 5pm at Graham Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in memory of Megan to the Jordan Renè Merchant Scholarship Fund at 325 Franklin Hogbay Road ME 04634.
