Obituary of Tonya Forbes Dunlap

Tonya Elizabeth Forbes Dunlap, 47, wife of Avrie Alloud Dunlap, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11AM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM at the cemetery. Tonya was born on March 2, 1975 in Georgetown, SC to John Thomas Forbes and the late Barbara Cribb Forbes. From the time she was little, she was loving and compassionate soul. She loved everyone and would help anyone in need that she was able to. In her free time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, painting, and cooking. Outside of her beautiful family, her beloved cats were her pride and joy. She had a personality that filled a room and loved laughing and talking loud with friends, family, and everyone she met. In addition to her husband, Tonya is survived by her father and stepmother Joyce; two daughters, Harley Parker of Georgetown and Katie Cribb (Storm Langston) of Hemingway; three stepchildren, Tionna Dunlap, Natoya Dunlap, and Avrie Dunlap, Jr. all of Georgetown; eight grandchildren, Kambien, Savannah, Brayden, Kiki, Rainey, Stormie, Autumn, and Cullen; 3 siblings, Ressie Forbes of Georgetown, Nettles Lambert Jr. (Michelle) of Georgetown, and Kevin Lambert (Denise) of Spartanburg; a special niece, Ashley Forbes; and a number of nieces, nephews and extended family.
