Obituary of Eddie Leigh

Eddie E. Leigh, 93, widower of Margaret S. Leigh passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House.
Born on October 25, 1918, in Horry County, he was a son of the late Willie Leigh and the late Dosha Joyner Leigh. Mr. Leigh was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Conway where he was a member of the Men’s Bible Class and a former deacon. He was WWII US Army Veteran and was retired from AVX Corporation. Mr. Leigh enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include one son, Gene Leigh (Judy) of Georgetown; two daughters, Pat Gibson (Fritz) of Myrtle Beach and Janice Jordan (Bryan) of Conway; 11 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Monday, September 17, 2012 in the Hillcrest Cemetery Mausoleum with the Rev. Dudley Parnell officiating.
