Kathleen Matlock Todd, age 96, passed away at her home in Georgetown, South Carolina on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born in Charlotte, Tennessee on September 30, 1925. She was a member of Ashland City Church of Christ and Georgetown Church of Christ and worked as a secretary for the TN. Dept. of Education for several years. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Herman Ray and Ethel Choate Matlock; husband, Nile Todd; brothers, Haden Ward Matlock, Granville Matlock, Harris Matlock, Glen Matlock, and Tommy Matlock; sisters, Lucille Robertson, Hazel Nicks, Ozell Corlew, and Emogene Owen. She is survived by her sons, Larry E. Sheehan (Adell), and Terry L. Sheehan (Marva); daughter, Nancy Wade; stepdaughter, Kay Wyatt (Frank); eleven grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 1pm until 2:30pm in the chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home, with a memorial from 2:30pm until 3pm. Following the memorial, Ms. Todd will be interred beside her husband at Matlock Family Cemetery in Charlotte, Tennessee at 4pm.
