Obituary of Curtis Eugene Hankins, Sr.

Curtis Eugene Hankins, Sr., 62, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Mr. Hankins was born in Yukon, West Virginia on December 29, 1959 to the late Katherine M. Hankins. He was a jack of all trades and always ready to help anyone who was in need. He was a truly genuine person who never met a stranger. His many friends and family will miss him dearly. Mr. Hankins is survived by a son, Curtis Hankins, Jr. and his fiancé Krystal Harvey of Atlanta Georgia; one granddaughter, Victoria Brown of Georgetown, SC; four sisters, Doris Hankins of TN, Sharon Hankins of Charleston, WV, Shelby Hankins of Detroit, MI, and Edith Hankins of Welch, WV; nephews, Michael Hankins of Bluefield, WV, Eric Hankins of Johnson City, TN, Larry Hankins and his wife Danielle of MD, James Valentine and his fiancé Tamika Gardner of Bluefield, WV, Quavon Valentine of Bluefield, WV, Jon Hankins from Detroit Michigan; nieces, Cleo Hankins of Johnson City, TN, Michelle Hankins and Keisha Hankins of Charleston, WV, Cassandra Hankins of Bluefield, WV, Maranda Alamwi and her husband Sam of Bluefield, WV; a stepson, Carlos Weathers, a very special friend, Karl Gray of Georgetown, SC; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends who were like family.
