Allen Lawrence “Larry” Morris, Jr., 59, husband of Cynthia Thomas Morris, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at his home.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 2PM and Screven Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 6-8PM.
Mr. Morris was born in Georgetown, SC on February, 11, 1963 to the late Allen Lawrence Morris, Sr. and the late Norma Gene Butler Morris Hanna. He retired from Georgetown County Bus Shop. Mr. Morris was a member of New Life Church and volunteered with the Lion’s Club.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Morris is survived by one son, Allen Morris (Tracy); one daughter, Brooke Morris; three grandchildren, Willow Kate Morris, Weldon “Wells” Morris, W. Lawrence Morris; three siblings, Gwen Moore (Joe), David Morris (Debbie), Anne Marie Braxton (Freddie); nieces and nephews, Hillary Ray, Matthew Ray, Patrick Ray, Edward Moore, Justin Moore, Joel Morris; sister-in-law, Annette Owens (Ronnie); Special friends, John “Bubba” McConnell (Elizabeth), Louis and Norma Rubin, Frankie Davis (Harriette); and his beloved pet, Daisy Mae. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Uncle Ted and Aunt Nina Morris, Uncle Henry W. Harrelson, and a brother-in-law Dale Elkins.
