Lila Beatrice Rogers Hewitt, 61, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hewitt was born in Georgetown on December 6, 1960 to the late James and Callie Rea Cooper Rogers. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose days revolved around taking care of her children and grandchildren. She loved nothing more than cooking for her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Mrs. Hewitt was a caregiver in every sense of the word, she spent her life taking care of those around her. Her family and friends will miss her warm smile and loving personality dearly. Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her husband, Ralph Lee Hewitt, Jr.; two daughters, Trice Wilson of Pawleys Island, Annie Hewitt of Georgetown; a son, Jeremy Hewitt (Amy) of Georgetown; four stepchildren, Leslie Cooper (Dee) of Andrews, Beverly Hewitt of Georgetown, Adam Carl (Brittany) of Conway, Jenna Hewitt of Summerville; 14 grandchildren, Jackson, Josie, Dalton, Laney Grace, Wilson, Holden, William, Leevi, Cooper, Sadie, Lacey, Ava, Graclyn, Wyatt; two sisters, Patricia Melson (Tim) of Pawleys Island, Teresa Rogers of Kingstree; one brother, Scott Curry; and numerous beloved extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jimmie Rea Rogers. A visitation will be held at Graham Funeral Home on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6PM-8PM.
