Obituary of Alice M. McDaniel

Alice M. McDaniel, 67, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 11AM at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. The family will receive friends at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 6-8PM. Ms. McDaniel was born in Georgetown, SC on April 25, 1954 to the late William T. McConnell and the late Vonnie B. McConnell. She was a devoted member of Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was involved in the women’s ministry and taught children’s church for a number of years. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews. You would often find her cheering them on in baseball, cross country or anything else they participated in. She was a member of the Alabama Fan Club and loved the USC Gamecocks. She enjoyed watching The Andy Griffith Show and traveling to the mountains whenever she could. Ms. McDaniel is survived by a sister, Stella M. Cameron (Danny); a nephew, Marc Cameron (Kim); a niece, Tracy C. West (Harold); five great nieces and nephews, Kellar Cameron, Brice Cameron, Harrison Cameron, Luke West, and Paige West; and special friends, Donna and T-Ann Dorn.
