John Wilbur Murphy, 65, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at Brunswick Cove Living Center in Winnabow, NC.
Born on December 7, 1946, in Georgetown, he was a son of the late John Murphy and the late Lessie "Dot" Cooper. Mr. Murphy owned his own pest control company for 29 years and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include one daughter, Katie Murphy of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother; one sister; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Carr Murphy.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 6, 2012 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Banks officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Atlanta, GA.
