Obituary of William L Ridley

William Lawrence Ridley, 60, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ridley was born in Pontiac, MI on May 25, 1961, to the late Lawrence William Ridley and the late Margaret Elaine Thomas Ridley. Mr. Ridley was a 1980 graduate of Walled Lake Western High School and worked for the South Carolina Department of Transportation. He was a proud 10-year United States Navy Veteran and a talented, self-taught musician who loved to sing, dance & perform in the theatre and choir. He was known for his lively sense of humor & was an avid movie lover. He was also a faithful Detroit sports fan. Mr. Ridley is survived by his wife, Marianne Stabile Ridley of Howell, MI; one daughter, Alexandria Ridley of Livonia, MI; two grandchildren, Andria and Aiden; three siblings, Laurie Conlen (Patrick) of Canton, MI, Leslie Tayor (Bill) of Elijay, GA, Pete Ridley (Araceli) of Georgetown, SC; three stepchildren, Jacqueline Ferenz, Allison Herell, Michael McCready; nine step-grandchildren, Molly, Mason, Cody, Chloe, Michael, Elizabeth, Tim, Jack, Ben; and a number of nieces and nephews.
