Georgia Lee Martin Jacobs, 87, widow of Floyd Lee Jacobs, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Brunswick, GA on September 3, 1933 to the late Richard Martin and the late Lula Mae Beckworth Martin. She was a retired CNA and worked at several restaurants in Georgetown. She was a people person with an infectious personality who never met a stranger. In her youth, Mrs. Jacobs was a Powder Puff Derby Dirt Track Race car driver. In her later years, she was an avid reader of murder mysteries and enjoyed baking in her free time. Mrs. Jacobs loved her family and friends immensely and spent as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mrs. Jacobs is survived her four children, Gary Lynn Jacobs (Patsy) of Dothan, AL, Ronnie Lee Jacobs of Georgetown, Sherry Jo Jacobs Saunders (Randy) of Georgetown, Darryl LaGrand Jacobs of Springhill, FL; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was proceeded in death by a grandson, Shannon LaGrand Leonard. Funeral services will be private.
