Corey Blane Owens, 22, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 in Andrews, SC.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 4:30PM at Victory Christian Fellowship. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:30PM. Burial will immediately follow the service and be held at 21 Huckleberry Road, Andrews, SC 29510.
Corey was born on November 10, 1998 to Natoshia Goude Newton and the late Jody Leon Franklin Owens. He was a graduate of USC Sumter’s Adult Education Program and enjoyed fishing, golf, and spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved dog Prince.
Surviving in addition to his mother are one daughter, Haisley Reign; four sisters, Kayra, Carley, Cameron, Emma; two brothers, Sailor, Christian; grandparents, Larry and Joyce Owens of Georgetown, Susan and Terry Cline of West Virginia, and James and Sheri Goude of Andrews; three uncles, Larry Owens, Jr. (Sheila), James Goude (Angel) of Georgetown, Ryan Jourdain of Andrews; one aunt, Angelica Goude of Andrews; great grandmother Shirley Sainz of Sumter; great grandparents Margie and Lonnie Pope of Georgetown; and a number of extended family.
In addition to his father, he was proceeded in death by an infant son, Cayden Blane Owens (his child with girlfriend Breanna Johnson).
