James Jerome Mclendon, 76, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Blue Ridge Skilled Nursing Facility in Georgetown, SC.
Mr. Mclendon was born in Winnsboro, SC on March 5, 1943 to the late Jesse Jerome Mclendon and the late Nadine Summer Mclendon. He was a member of the Freemasons and Nesmith Baptist Church. Mr. Mclendon was a University of South Carolina graduate and a devote Gamecock fan. He retired after a 43 year career as a pharmacist.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher “Kit” Mclendon (Whitney) of Columbia, SC and Scott Mclendon of Austin, TX; and a grandson, Jeremy L. Owens of Andrews, SC.
Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
