Raymond Eddie Munn, 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service, with military honors, will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11AM in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Mr. Munn was born in Florence, SC on June 26, 1932 to the late Raymond George Munn and the late Estell Evans Munn. Growing up Mr. Munn worked in his father’s sawmill. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and then retired from the Department of Transportation in the Vehicle Maintenance Department. He was a member of Friendfield Presbyterian Church. In his free time Mr. Munn enjoyed playing rummy and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are one stepdaughter, Donna Small (Frank) of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Deana Marsh of Johnsonville and Michael Small (Blair) of North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Cook of Sumter and Dora Plutto of Marion; and a number of great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Munn; a sister, Alma Phillips and a brother, Robert G. Munn; a stepson, Ferrell Quickel and his wife Barbara; and a grandchild, Frankie Small. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org.
