Jorge Efrain Medina, 59, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at his residence.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11AM at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church.
Born in Kings County, NY on November 12, 1961 he was a son of the late Jorge Efrain Medina, Sr. and the late Dorothea Colbert. Mr. Medina was a wonderful story-teller with a great memory. He loved motorcycles, cars, and his dogs.
Surviving are one son, Cody Colbert Medina (Sarah) of Georgetown; one daughter, Jessica Evans of Missouri; two sisters, Toni Ann Colbert-Chavez of Chicago and Margie Jayroe Bostian (Harold Adams) of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Richard Jayroe and David Jayroe, both of Georgetown; a special friend Melissa Lynn Jacobs of Georgetown; and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Medina was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Jayroe Ruggiero and two brothers, Buddy Jayroe and Jimmy Jayroe.
