Obituary of Maggie Terry

Maggie Marie Barrineau Terry, 48, beloved wife of Kerry L. Terry, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at her home. Born on March 10, 1964, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of William A. "W.A." Barrineau and Frances N. Avant. Mrs. Terry was a faithful member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include her husband and parents all of Georgetown; two children, Cathy Shannon (Chester) of Georgetown and John Taylor (Adrianne Lambert) of Georgetown; two step-children, Kathy McPhearson of Kershaw and Kerry Terry, Jr. of Georgetown; and six grandchildren, Chester Shannon, III, Chelsey Shannon, Summer McPhearson, Skyler Taylor, Chandler Shannon and Rayland Taylor. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thurmond and Alvainia Norris; and paternal grandparents, Larry and Margaret Barrineau. Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Chris Browder and Rev. Chester Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Holmes Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
