Obituary of Jimmy Dale Dimery

Jimmy Dale Dimery, 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 11AM in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced. Mr. Dimery was born in Conway, SC on July 30, 1948. He was the son of the late James Dale Dimery and the late Sadie Phipps Dimery. Mr. Dimery was a Winyah High School Graduate who worked in the International Paper Company Container division for 45 years. He was a life-time member of Georgetown Church of God where he was a part of the men’s fellowship group and also a clerk for the church for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed the company of friends and family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Surviving are two sons, Dale Dimery (Sherri) of Bristol, VA and Matthew Dimery (Rachel) of Florence, SC; five grandchildren, Hannah Dimery, Hailey Dimery, Lydia Dimery, Lana Dimery, Sadie Dimery; and two nephews, Andy Howard (Rhonda), Greg Howard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Jane Dimery and a sister, Linda Howard. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org.
