Paulette Owens Glisson, 56, passed away at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2020.
Born in Georgetown, SC on October 29, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Earl Owens and the late Carolyn Lee Owens. She was a 1982 Winyah High graduate and a member of Duncan United Methodist Church. She loved the beach, shag dancing, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
Ms. Glisson is survived by one son, Kenneth “Kent” Glisson of Pawleys Island, SC; one daughter, Courtney Matthews (Seth) of Florence, SC; one stepchild, LaTosha Glisson of Andrews, SC; one grandson, Emerson Matthews of Florence, SC; one uncle, Edward Lee of Barnville, SC; and one niece, Stephanie Lee Scott (Jeremy) of Brunswick, GA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Glisson and a sister, Pamela Owens Hughes.
