Severia "Sylvia" Sapienza Belusz, 73, widow of Gerald J. Belusz, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on July 13, 1939, in Hamtramck, MI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Sapienza and the late Genevieve Sapienza. Mrs. Belusz was a member of Saint Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. She enjoyed having people over to visit, bowling and traveling. Survivors include 3 sons, James Belusz (Anita) of High Point, NC, John Belusz (Margaret) of Georgetown and Robert Belusz (Rebecca) of Socastee; six grandchildren, Samantha Belusz, Nancy Belusz, Deborah Belusz, Gerak Belusz, Annalise Belusz and Jonathan Belusz; one brother, Paul Sapienza (Ann) of Venice, FL; and two nieces, Annie Sapienza and Elizabeth Sapienza. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Belusz. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Saint Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church with Father Ronald J. Farrell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graham Funeral Home. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements. www.grahamfuneralhome.org
