Obituary of Ronald Vincent Cavalieri

Ronald Vincent Cavalieri, 91, husband of Mary Ellen Suckel Cavalieri, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home from 9:30AM-10:30AM on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church at 11AM. Interment, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will immediately follow the service in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cavalieri attended St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. In his free time, he enjoyed puzzles, sudoku, and spending time with family and friends. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed. Surviving, in addition to his wife of 67 years, are two daughters, Barbara Cavalieri Pittman (Danny) and Kathleen Cavalieri Marando (Joseph); two sons, Robert Cavalieri and Michael Cavalieri; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Pittman Lee (David), Amanda Pittman Frye (Jeffrey), Melissa Marando Gomez (Tony), Michael Marando (Kyra), Matthew Marando, Lauren Cavalieri, Thomas Pittman, Alexis Cavalieri, and Jillian Cavalieri; five great grandchildren, Olivia Lee, Nora Jo Lee, Abigail Frye, Henry Frye, and Baby Gomez due in December; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doreen Cavalieri Dolan and a brother, Jack Cavalieri. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church at 317 Broad Street, Georgetown, SC 29440.
