Obituary of Willis Edwin Lee

Willis Edwin Lee, 86, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at his daughter’s home in Georgetown. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 in Graham Funeral Home Chapel at 2PM. Social distancing will be enforced and masks are required. Burial will immediately follow the service in Elmwood Cemetery. Born in Georgetown County on September 23, 1933, he was a son of the late Willis Simeon Lee and the late Ellen Oliver Lee. Mr. Lee was employed at International Paper for 35 years, retiring as an Instrument Analyst. He was a member of United Christian Outreach and formerly had a jail ministry at Georgetown County Detention Center. In his free time, Mr. Lee enjoyed fishing and was a recreational pilot. Mr. Lee is survived by two children, Jeanette Lee Stewart of Georgetown, Sandra Lee McLeod of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Chawn Stewart of Murrells Inlet, Chaine Stewart (Jennifer) of Georgetown, Karlyn McLeod of Rock Hill, Christopher McLeod (Danya Lewis) of Georgetown, and James McLeod of Georgetown; step-daughter, Melissa McConnell; step grandchild, Natalie McConnell; two sisters, Myrtis Graham of North Charleston and Kathleen Bazacos of Virginia; a brother, Elmer Lee of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Enter Lee. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.grahamfuneralhome.org.
