John Cleatus Spencer, Jr., 80, husband of Margaret Louise Denny Spencer, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at his home.
Born on September 4, 1939 in High Point, North Carolina, he was a son of the late John Cleatus Spencer, Sr. and the late Annie Laura Elliott Spencer. Mr. Spencer loved corvettes and working on and restoring cars. He was a member of the NRA and a NASCAR fan.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 60 years, are three daughters, Julie S. Richardson of Zionsville, IN, Karen Lynne S. Byrd (John) of Clarkston, MI, Johnna Lee S. Wertenberger (IJ) of Noblesville, IN; two sons, Ramie Dale Spencer of Zionsville, IN and Christopher Vance Spencer, of Fishers, IN; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Janis Howard of High Point, NC; one brother, Lindy Jay Spencer of High Point, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Christopher Spencer.
A visitation will be held at Graham Funeral Home on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 6PM-8PM.
