Mr. Martin Robert Convery, Jr., 49, husband of Mary Kay McConnell Convery, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at his home in Georgetown, South Carolina.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 11AM in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on May 9, 1971, he was a son of Martin Robert Convery, Sr. and Judith Ann Sweatt Convery. Mr. Convery received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from The University of Massachusetts in Lowell. He was employed in the field of corrections and security. He loved the sport of football, playing in High School and College as well as coaching Pop Warner in Nashua & Hudson, NH. Being an avid Boston sports fan, he especially liked to attend Patriots games with his family & friends. Marty also enjoyed watching auto racing and a sunny day at the beach.
Surviving in addition to his wife of ten years and his parents, are one son, Dalton McConnell (Alexis) of Georgetown; a sister, Cheryl Convery, of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Scott Convery (Erin along with niece Samantha and nephew Andrew), of Nashua, NH and Nicholas Convery of Braintree, MA; mother-in-law, Luciene McConnell of Georgetown; brothers-in-law, John McConnell, Bill McConnell (Frances), Paul McConnell (Jennifer), Timothy McConnell (Tarrynn); sister-in-law, Catherine Blake (Rodney), Adam (Meredith), Haven, Darien Hanna, Maddie, Lizzie, Aubree, Bradly, Jayden, Ayden, Tyde and Addison, along with many uncles, aunts, nephews & nieces.
Mr. Convery was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John Edward McConnell of Georgetown and grandparents Arthur & Lillian Sweatt and Frederick & Catherine Convery of Lowell .
