Obituary of Pamela Sessions Walker

Pamela Ruth Sessions Walker, 75, widow of the honorable Hughey Walker, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at The Lakes at Litchfield.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 5PM in Graham Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3PM-5PM at the funeral home.

Born in Georgetown on January 24, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Laurin T. Sessions and the late Sarah Louise Altman Sessions.  Mrs. Walker served as an educator for over 50 years.  She loved reading, painting, gardening and was a collector of art and books.  She graduated from Winyah Highschool and Winthrop College and earned a Masters degree from University of South Carolina.  In her free time, Mrs. Walker spent time with family and friends and enjoying nature.

Surviving are two daughters, Leslie Patino of Chapin, SC and Lara P. Keough (Michael) of Pawleys Island, SC; two sons, Jorge Patino (Shannon) of Conway, SC and Miquel Patino (Shannon) of Baltimore, MD; one step daughter, Jacquelyn Walker of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Shaw, Ava, Johnny, Joey, Asher, and Matthew; two brothers, Sonny Session (Shirley) and Wesley Sessions (Barbara) both of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother Benny Sessions.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at 3647 J Dewey Gray Circle Augusta, GA 30909.
