Obituary of Frankie Joye Hilburn

Frankie Elise Joye Hilburn, 75, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Prince George Healthcare.

A funeral service, officiated by Reverend Chris Giles, will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3PM at Ringel Heights Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2PM.  Interment will be held in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.

Born in Mullins, South Carolina on February 18, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Joye and the late Essie Elise Grainger Joye. She was a member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church and an avid Gamecock fan.  Ms. Hilburn loved traveling to the mountains and following her children and grandchildren to all of their sporting events and favorite pastimes.  Above all, her greatest joy was being a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are her children, Kenny Hilburn (Robin) of Georgetown, Shery Poston (Wayne) of Georgetown, Roy Hilburn (Devin) of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Benji Hilburn, Brook Hilburn Tanner (Tyler), Taylor Poston (Justin McAlister), Nicholas Poston (Jordan), Morgan Hilburn, Matthew Hilburn; two great grandchildren, Kenzlie Tanner and Connor McAlister; two very special cousins, Norris Joye and Larry Joye (Barbara) all of Georgetown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Roy Hilburn, Sr.
