Obituary of Doris Hucks Miller

Doris Hucks Miller, 81, widow of Paul Delmas Miller, Sr., passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Ringel Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2PM-3PM.  Burial will immediately follow the service in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Conway on June 29, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William Franklin Hucks and the late Eunice Ethel Edwards Hucks.  Mrs. Miller was a devoted member of Ringel Heights Baptist Church.  She loved gospel music, sewing, and quilting. 

Surviving are two children, Paul D. Miller, Jr. (Janet) and Karen Lambert (Edwin) all of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Dawn Miller (Freddie Britt), Sherry Morris (Ian Woodsides), Joy Rush (Nick), Jericho Gause (Jami); nine great grandchildren, Dylan, Dalaney, Kaylan, Hamer, Keri, Blake, Joshua, Christian, Nora; one sister, Mary Edna Cooper of Conway; one brother, Troy Arthur Hucks (Virginia) of Aynor.

In addition to her parents and husband of sixty years, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Janice Gause; a brother, Billy Hucks; and a sister, Juanita Thomas.
