Obituary of Carolyn Paschal Saunders

Carolyn Lavon Paschal Saunders, 77, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 in National Health Care of Garden City.

A graveside funeral service, officiated by Reverend Aubrey Floyd, will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 1PM at Rose Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born on July 27, 1942 in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Dalton William Paschal and Nell Altman Paschal.

Mrs. Saunders was a graduate of both Winyah High School and University of South Carolina.  She lived in Virginia and Maryland before returning to Georgetown to work in real estate.  She retired from James W. Smith Realty and spent her free time reading books and enjoying the company of family and friends. 

Surviving are her two sons, Robert Dalton Saunders of Pawleys Island and Brian Paschal Saunders of Surfside; a sister, Debra Paschal Tyson and her husband Phillip of Georgetown; a nephew, Adam Spencer Tyson and his wife Joy of Goose Creek; a niece, Chelsea Ellen Gibson of Richardson, Texas; one great nephew, Lincoln Wyatt Gilbert of Goose Creek; one great niece, Lucille Knox Tyson of Goose Creek.
