Obituary of Clifton Floyd Hardee

Clifton Floyd Hardee, 91, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Embrace Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Baptist Church on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2PM.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2PM.  Burial will be held immediately following the service in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born on July 19, 1927 in Florence, SC, he was a son of the late Frank I. Hardee and the late Ella Hardee.  Mr. Hardee was a charter member of Lakewood Baptist Church and a retired accountant with International Paper Company. He was a United States Army veteran who served in WWII.

Surviving are his daughter, Chrystal Ward of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Kasie and Drake Ward, both of Arkansas; one sister, Carolyn McLamb of North Carolina; seven nieces, Pam Mintz, Donna (Andy) Merrell , Melissa Hardy and her daughter Cecilia, Elaine (Doug) Hubbard, Diane (Earl) Hughes, Jean (DeDe) White, Linda Inman, all of North Carolina; nephews, Anthony Hardee and Donald (Annette) Ward, both of North Carolina.
