Obituary of Catherine B. Harter

Catherine B. Harter, widow of Harold Harter, 93, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Prince George Healthcare.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11AM in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born on January 11, 1926 in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late Elisha Barrineau and late Jennie Murray Barrineau.  Mrs. Harter attended Screven Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and yardwork.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Harter (Dale) of Tennessee, Richard E. Harter (Elizabeth) of Georgetown; one granddaughter, Leslie Bryant (Daniel) of Anderson; three grandsons, Bill Harter (Elizabeth) of Tennessee, Jason Harter (Lauren) of Arkansas, Joshua Harter of Georgetown; six great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Barrineau, Cleveland Barrineau, Harim Barrineau, and one sister, Lillian Lambert.
