Obituary of Helen Osborne Fulton

Helen Osborne Fulton, widow of Harry James Durant Fulton, Jr., 73, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her residence.

A funeral service, officiated by Reverend Ted Sherrill, will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 11AM at First Baptist Church of Georgetown.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10AM. Interment will immediately follow the service in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born on September 7, 1945 in Indiantown, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Walter Perry Osborne and the late Bertha Osborne.

Mrs. Fulton was a retired bookkeeper and devoted member of First Baptist Church of Georgetown and the Samaritan Sunday School Class.

Surviving are one daughter, Darlene Fulton Butler of Tennessee; a granddaughter, Amanda Grace Butler; five sisters, Bobbye Pauley (Ken) of West Virginia, Sallie Mueller of Maryland, Cindy Byers (Robert) of Tennessee, Leigh Stroud of Virginia, Dot Thompson of Hanahan, South Carolina; one brother, Perry Osborne of Virginia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church at 219 Cleland Street, Georgetown SC 29440 or to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018.
