Kendra Jacqueline Jordan Newman, 45, wife of John Edward Newman, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at her home.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 6PM-8PM at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 2PM at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.  Burial will immediately follow the service in Hucksfield Cemetery.

Born in Myrtle Beach, SC on July 16, 1973, she was a daughter of Kenny Walker Jordan and Connie Louise Goude Jordan.  She was a Georgetown High School graduate and worked at Georgetown Memorial Hospital from 1993 to 2009.  She also taught health sciences at Andrews High School for four years.  In her free time, she enjoyed painting, drawing, and horseback riding.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of twenty one years and her parents are, one daughter, Jacqueline Constance Newman; one son, John Edward Newman II; three sisters, Connie “Scooter” Roman, Ann Jordan (Chris Vermont), Lisa Jordan Patterson; her grandmother, Ida Mae Baker of Columbia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
