Obituary of Everett Marion Fulton

Everett Marion “Skeeter” Fulton, 78, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will begin at 11 AM Monday, January 7, 2019 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Georgetown.  Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Ted Sherrill, will follow at 12 PM.  Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home will take place in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Georgetown July 19, 1940, he was a son of the late Harry James Fulton, Sr. and Adria Ray Fulton.  Mr. Fulton was a member of First Baptist Church and a 1959 graduate of Winyah Highschool.  After graduation, he served in the United States Navy.  He worked for many years at A&P and Piggly Wiggly grocery stores, retiring as assistant manager.  Mr. Fulton enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Surviving are two sisters, Joyce Elaine Fulton and Dorothy Fulton Ramsey, both of Summerville; one brother, Elbert Fulton and his wife Mary of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Harry James Fulton, Jr.
