Obituary of Patrick James Cribb

Patrick James Cribb, 62, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 6PM-8PM at Center Baptist Church in Hemingway, SC.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 3PM at Center Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.

Born in Hemingway, SC on March 17, 1956, he was a son of the late Vonnie Viola Powers Cribb Owens and the late John H. Reed Cribb.  Mr. Cribb was a Pleasant Hill High School graduate.  He retired from International Paper and was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Patrick E. Cribb of Georgetown, SC; sister, Nancy Thompson (Jimmie) of Hemingway, SC; two brothers, Clifton L. Cribb (Shirley) and Royce L. Cribb (Joanna) all of Hemingway, SC; one grandchild, Vonnie Annmarie Cribb; two sister-in-laws, Mary Hill Cribb and Jean Cribb Merrithew; his best friends, Lynwood Cribb and Barry Grier; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five brothers, Robert J. Cribb, Kenneth R. Cribb, Jimmy F. Cribb, John G. Cribb, and Ricky L. Cribb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Baptist Church at 2602 Schoolhouse Drive, Hemingway, SC 29554.
