Lois Elizabeth Hawley Troup, 91, widow of John Alexander Troup, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at The Medical University of South Carolina.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Bill Puckett, will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 11am at Georgetown Presbyterian Church.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 11, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Robert Edward Hawley and Matilda Clark Huston Hawley.

Mrs. Troup was a graduate of Frankfurt High School in Philadelphia. She was a former matron of the Rhawnhurst Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Georgetown Presbyterian church.  Mrs. Troup was a retired realtor who worked with Wedgefield Associates, Roberts & Weaver, and Coldwell Banker/Chicora.  She enjoyed golfing, snow skiing, and playing bridge in her free time.

Surviving are two daughters, Arlene Jane Troup Dinges (Richard) of Weed, California and Lois Ann Troup of Georgetown, South Carolina; one son, John Alexander Troup of Garland, Texas; two grandchildren, Richard Alexander Dinges (Cecelia) of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Brianna Renè Dinges of Sebastopol, California; two great grandchildren, Makayla Rose Dinges and Adilyn Grace Dinges, both of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband of 47 years, she was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Hawley and Donald Hawley; and a sister, Helen Kenny DiMarcello.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Georgetown Presbyterian Church at 55 Black River Road, Georgetown, SC 29440 or Shriners Hospitals for Children at 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
