Obituary of Francis E. Cook

Francis E. “Naught” Cook, 90, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at his home.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11AM at Graham Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 12PM in Graham Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Conway, SC on December 6, 1927, he was a son of the late Thomas Kirton Cook and Frances Grace (Paul) Cook.

Mr. Cook was a retired electrician with the City of Georgetown and a Navy veteran.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.  In his free time, he worked on his honey-do-list from his wife, Mrs. Velma. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are three children, Thomas G. Cook (Pat) of Georgetown, Norma Cook Grimes (Jack) of Georgetown, Billy Ray Cook (Terena) of Georgetown; 7 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cook was predeceased by his wife, Velma Cannon Cook and one grandson, Christopher Preston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgetown County Veteran’s Memorial at PO Box 941, Georgetown, SC 29442.
