Dear Wayne and Betty, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother ("Miss Gladys," as I knew her.). She was a very kind and gentle lady who I will never forgot and in indebted to. I was so appreciative for how she and Miss Gracie Todd and Miss Blanche Hutchinson "took me under their arm" when I worked at the old Belk Department Store on Front Street during the Christmas Holidays of 1968-71. Our prayers go out to the Cribb Family. It was April 1999 when we moved across the street and Mrs. Gladys Cribb came over to welcome us to the neighborhood. She has always been very helpful to us. We will truly miss this christian lady.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gladys. She was always such a sweet, kind, and caring lady who I know will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Betty and Wayne, I pray for peace and comfort in the days ahead as you learn to adjust to life without your loving mother. I will be unable to be there with you as you say your final goodbyes as I will be out of town. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
