Obituary of Mildred House Williams

Mildred Joyce House Williams, 83, wife of Frank Williams, passed away August 4, 2017 at her residence.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Graham Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Screven Baptist Church at 11am.  Interment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John Evan House and the late Onie Jones House.

Mrs. Williams was a devoted member of Screven Baptist Church for over 60 years.  She was also a member of the Esther Sunday School Class.  Mrs. Williams was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed sewing for friends and family.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be missed by many.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years is one son, Jamie Williams (Cindy); two grandsons, Ryan Williams and Drew Williams; one granddaughter, Hayden Williams; one sister, Barbara Martin (Ancil) of Georgetown; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Lou Mitchum and Linda Phillips; one brother, Dennis House; and one nephew, Andy Martin.
