Obituary of Wanda Wilder

Wanda Sue Moore Wilder, 70, wife of Hilbrand O. Wilder, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at her home. Born on May 25, 1941, in Waynesville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. Moore and the late Gladys Stone Moore Winkler. Mrs. Wilder enjoyed music country and bluegrass music, playing the guitar, writing poems, drawing, playing bingo and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; three children, Woodie Chavis (Donna) of Columbia, Helen Marie Baylor (Barry) of West Andrews and Samantha Burdette (Ken) of Cottageville; five grandchildren, Gretchen M. Castora of Charleston, Barry O. Baylor of West Andrews, Courtney Jordan of Bishopville, Sarah C. Chavis of Columbia and Hunter S. Burdette of Cottageville; three great grandchildren, Danielle M. Castora of Kingstree, Tyler A. Gibson of Andrews and Aidan A. Chavis of Columbia; one sister, Judy Watson of Wilson, NC; and one brother, Charles Moore of Grifton, NC. A Memorial service will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel.
