Obituary of William Thomas Jayroe

William Thomas “Buddy” Jayroe, 65, husband of Barbara Jean Bazen Jayroe, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Tideland Community Hospice. Visitation will be held Friday, October, 21, 2016 at Graham Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 4pm at Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the funeral service in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Born on October 9, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late James Lawrence “Larry” Jayroe, Sr. and the late Mary Margaret “Mickey” Colbert Jayroe. Mr. Jayroe was a handy man that loved fishing and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed baseball and collecting baseball cards as well as watching movies. His favorite time was that spent with his family, especially his granddaughter, Mia. Surviving is his wife of 35 years; one son, Thomas Jamie Jayroe (Jessica) of Georgetown, SC; one granddaughter, Mia Juliana Jayroe of Georgetown, SC; two sisters, Sandra J. Ruggiero (James) of Brooklyn, NY, Marjorie Ann J. Bostian (Elbert) of Saulisbury, NC; four brothers, James L. Jayroe, Jr. (Gayle Bass Jayroe) of Georgetown, SC, Richard Jayroe of Georgetown, SC, David Scot Jayroe (Jennifer) of Georgetown, SC, Jorge E. Medina of Chicago, IL; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Robert Michael Jayroe, and an infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jayroe.
