Obituary of Brenda Foxworth

Brenda Avant Foxworth, 66, wife of Lawrence Foxworth passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her home. Born on May 18, 1945, in Georgetown County, she was the daughter of the late Wilson B. Avant and the late Ruby Reynolds Avant. Mrs. Foxworth was a member of First Assembly of God. She enjoyed cooking, baking and doing crafts. Mrs. Foxworth was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband of Georgetown; two children, Clifton Tompkins (Kim) of Kentucky and Angela Henry of Louisiana; five step children, Jerry Foxworth (Norma) of Georgetown, Deborah Tice (Mark) of Georgetown, Judy Shaw (Bobby) of Six Mile, SC, Cathy Bryant (Mark) of Andrews and Jeffrey Foxworth (Samantha) of Georgetown; one brother, Larry Avant (Judy) of Georgetown; 14 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 7, 2012 in the Graham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dave Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Graham Funeral Home. Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge of the arrangements. www.grahamfuneralhome.org
