I am saddened to learn of Harry"s (Chip's) passing. If there is a life beyond, I hope we can meet again. (And Chip, I'm still not sorry I put your pants in the freezer. You will forever remain in my heart.)

Harry was unique and you will have to do a lot of searching to find another like him.
Harry was a GREAT FRIEND, he was smart, caring and very funny. I rarely had a conversation with him in which he didn’t tell me a new joke and if you had the time, he could tell you jokes for 3 hours, never repeating the same one.
Although he was an MD, his life centered around the US army, specifically SF and jumping out of airplanes. He had other interests, but none that over shadowed his desire to serve, his love of country and defense of our nation. His intellect drew him in many directions. He had a keen interest in economics and politics, which were reflected in his readings and conversation.
I and many others will miss our friend. He will not be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends for the loss of your loved one. The Hearer of Prayer has promised to provide his holy spirit to those who sincerely ask for it. (Psalm 65:2). That same spirit can give you the power beyond what is normal to endure your grief.

I had the privilege of working as a paramedic under the direction of Dr. Heinitsh for 20 years. He was a great educator, Physician and spent many years helping to grow the Rescue Division of the Miami Beach Fire Department into what it is today.
