Obituary of Donald Ewton Cummings

Donald Ewton Cummings, 79, husband of Marie Lowrimore Cummings, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Conway Medical Center.
Born June 27, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Claude Allen Cummings and the late Mary Emma Ewton Cummings.
Mr. Cummings was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the VFW. He was a retired printer with Cadmus and was a member of Langston Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and spending time with his friends and family, including his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of Georgetown; a son, Donald E. Cummings, Jr. (Carol); two daughters, Theresa M. Nance (Mickel), Wendy G. Kerrigan, all of Georgetown; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jane Curtis (Junior), Mary Ruth Peterman (Pete); a brother, Terrell Allen Cummings; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Claudine Love and Barbara Gregory; an infant brother; a granddaughter, Heather Gayle Bratton; and a grandson, Devin Joseph Kerrigan.
Funeral services will be 11AM on Monday, February 1, 2016 in the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will follow in The North Hampton Baptist Church Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Sunday January 31, 2016 from 6 until 8 P.M. at Graham Funeral Home.
