Obituary of Annie M. Cook

Annie M. Cook, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, her husband, Cleveland O. Cook; her parents; her daughter, Gloria Kellahan; grandson, Ryan Kellahan; son, Donnie Cook; Infant Cook; brothers, Marion, James, Jack, and Johnny Newton; sisters, Elizabeth Reed, Lucille Byrdik, Lanora Morris, and Yvonne Newton on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Born February 22, 1934 in Andrews, she was a daughter of the late Eunice C. Newton and Warren L. Newton. Mrs. Cook was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed fishing, camping, and the outdoors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Christian Fortress beginning at 6pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2pm at Christian Fortress. Burial will follow the funeral service at Gourdines Chapel Cemetery. Surviving are: her daughter, Eunice L. Harper of Lugoff; five sons, Leo Cook of Gresham, James Cook of Gresham, John Cook of Andrews, Neal Cook of Atlanta, and Tommy Cook of Andrews; 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
