Obituary of Jerlean Williamson Prevatte

Jerlean Williamson Prevatte, 80, widow of Bennie W. Prevatte, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Prince George Health Care. Born on February 5, 1934, in Evergreen, NC, she was a daughter of the late Herman Williamson and the late Etta Nance Williamson. Mrs. Prevatte was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and singing and most of all helping other and spending time with her family. Survivors include a daughter, Etta Suzette Bryant (Jay Gibson) of Bonneau; two grandchildren, Etta Danielle Grimes (Bill) of Georgetown and Dustin Bryant (Dixie) of Georgetown; six great grandchildren, Nathan Bryant, Connor Bryant, Tyler Bryant, MaKayla Bryant, Kane Grimes and Sawyer Grimes; two brothers, E.J. Williamson (Jane) of Evergreen, NC and Fred E. Williamson (Lavern) of St. George; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Caryl Prevatte and Daryl Prevatte; one brother, Joseph Williamson; one half brother, Paul T. Nance; and one half sister, Mildred Nance Watts. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
