Obituary of Dan Wheeler

Dan H. Wheeler, Sr., 78, widower of Doris J. Wheeler, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Prince George Health Care Center.
Born on June 10, 1933, in Andrews, he was a son of the late John Refford Wheeler and the late Ethel Fulton Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was retired from International Paper Company and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include a son, Dan H. Wheeler, Jr. (Ginger) of Georgetown; two grandsons, Chad Wheeler of Georgetown and Jody Wheeler (Cheryl) of Georgetown; two great grandchildren, Keelie E. Wheeler and Ambry L. Wheeler; one sister, Faye W. Bryant of Murrells Inlet; four brothers, Harry Wheeler of Hamlet, NC, Edwin Wheeler of Hamlet, NC, J.R. Wheeler of St. Augustine, FL and Earl Wheeler of Andrews; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Norward B. Wheeler, Kenneth L. Wheeler and W. Lamont Wheeler; and two sisters, Beatrice W. Lambert and Dorothy W. Warren.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Rose Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Graham Funeral Home.
